Gabriela Fernandez

The medium I enjoy working with is digital art. I love to create intricate and visually appealing images using bright colors and different textures. All the pieces I have created digitally throughout my time in school are different, but one thing that stays the same is the colors I choose to use. I like to play with bright colors to make pieces that are inviting and upbeat. I draw a lot of inspiration from the works of Keith Herring. I admire his use of bright colors to send a specific message to viewers. I believe that we can use art to portray so many different emotions and when people view my work, I want them to feel a sense of joy or curiosity and ideally walk away with their own interpretation of it. My art is about joy, wonder, and the different ways people connect to what they see.
